Images from six satellites are available.  Four of the satellites are stationary.  One provides motion and still images over the Western Atlantic and Caribbean. The second satellite shows motion and still images of the Gulf of Mexico.  The two remaining stationary satellites  measure the potential rate of rainfall/hour, one over the Atlantic and the other over the Gulf.

Two satellites are "Floater GOES Satellites."  These are moved to positions over locations of weather interest.  Both "Floaters" provide motion and still pictures.
